京都で生産される西陣織りの生地を使用したギターストラップです。自社工房にて製造しています。黒字に金糸で龍の顔が描かれた柄です。元々この柄は龍と虎が描かれているため虎の柄の一部が柄の中に混在しています。
＊西陣織とは、「多品種少量生産が特徴の京都（西陣）で生産される先染（さきぞめ）の紋織物」の総称です。昭和51年2月26日、国の伝統的工芸品に指定されました。
西陣の織屋は、平安朝以降連綿と積み重ねられてきた高い技術の錬磨に加えて、優れたデザイン創作のため、創造力や表現力への努力を重ねています。 参照＝西陣織工業組合サイトより

This guitar strap is made from Nishijin-ori fabric produced in Kyoto, Japan, and is handcrafted at our own workshop.
The design features a dragon’s face woven in gold thread on a black background. The original pattern depicts both a dragon and a tiger, so you may notice parts of the tiger motif mixed into the design.
Nishijin-ori is a general term for traditional woven textiles produced in the Nishijin area of Kyoto. It is characterized by its wide variety of designs and small-lot production, using pre-dyed yarns. Nishijin-ori was officially designated as a Traditional Craft by the Japanese government on February 26, 1976.
Nishijin weavers have continued to develop their highly refined weaving techniques, passed down through generations since the Heian period, while also pursuing creativity and expressive design.
